Revolt Electric Motorcycle To Get Different Exhaust Notes!

The upcoming Revolt Electric motorcycle will be unveiled in India tomorrow. For the first time, you can actually choose different exhaust sounds.

India’s first electric motorcycle from Revolt Motors is set to be launched tomorrow. Also, it will be India’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled motorcycle, with advanced connectivity features.

A fresh teaser of the Revolt Electric Motorcycle has come up. The teaser shows that you can electronically choose the exhaust sound that you want. Basically, you have four sound options to choose from.

Revolt Motors wants its electric motorcycle to sound like a conventional bike, that’s why the options. It will be placed alongside regular 160cc motorcycles, in terms of pricing.

The engine specifications are unknown, but it will be equipped with lithium-ion battery. The riding range offered will be 160 Kms, as claimed by ARAI. In real world riding, the range could come down to 120 kms.

The top speed has been limited to 85 km/hr. Basically, the power figures are similar to that of a 125cc motorcycle. Actually, the manufacturer wants to make it a mass market product.

For suspension, the Revolot Electric Motorcycle will be equipped with USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Braking is likely to be handled by a disc brake at the front and single-channel ABS.

Features onboard will include a Bluetooth-connected digital speedometer, LED headlamps, LED tail lights and much more. The speedometer is likely to get its personal internet connection for OTA upgrades.

As of now, 75% percent of the motorcycle is localized, filling one of the conditions of the FAME-II scheme. The manufacturer is going to make it a 100% localized product by next year.

That’s why we expect the price of the Revolt Electric Motorcycle to be around 1 Lakh (on-road). In terms of pricing, it will go against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ V3.
