At the unveiling of Kia Seltos, officials have confirmed that it will be launched in the early months of second half of 2019. That means by July-August.
Kia Motors has unveiled its first SUV for India, which has been globally unveiled here. The Auto-Expo showcased SP2i SUV is now named as Kia Seltos. The SUV has not been launched today.
At the unveiling, we got to know that the launch period of Kia Seltos has been scheduled for the second half of 2019. Reports confirm that it will be launched by the end of August itself.
The bookings will reportedly commence by mid-July or last week of next month. With this, we expect deliveries to commence by the end of August. The expected pricing of the SUV is between Rs 11 Lakhs to Rs 17 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

The manufacturer has confirmed that it will have over 265 touch points across the country. The showrooms are expected to open soon, eventually. The prices and complete brochure will be out at the time of launch.
Kia Seltos is available with three engine options – a 1.4 Litre turbopetrol, 1.5 Litre petrol and a 1.5 Litre diesel engine. Both the petrol and diesel engine will come with the options of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed Torque converter unit. The turbopetrol engine will come mated to a 7-speed DCT.
Seltos comes loaded with many premium features such as a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED mood lighting, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, push-button start, drive mode selector, in-car WiFi, rear window curtain, a 8-speaker Bose audio system, and also an 8-inch heads up display.

Safety features onboard include 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, Vehicle Stability, Traction Control, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Hill Assist Control and Hill Hold.
