Fresh spy images of the new Suzuki Gixxer 155 have been leaked online. The updated version will get heavy cosmetic upgrades and new features as well.

Suzuki Motorcycle India just launched the Gixxer SF 250 and the updated SF 155. At the launch, the officials confirmed that the same 250cc engine will come on the naked Gixxer as well as the 155cc version will be updated.

Both the motorcycles are expected to launch in the Festive Season 2019. Now, we have some images of the new Suzuki Gixxer 155, spied at a warehouse. This indicates that the launch is nearing.

Based on the spy images, we see that the new Suzuki Gixxer 155 gets a revised fuel tank, and is strapped in a dual-tone colour combination. The tank shrouds are also new as is the complete styling of the motorcycle.

It gets a new oval-shaped Full LED headlamp at the front and a revised instrument console from the Gixxer SF. The design of the alloy wheels remain the same and it also misses out on an engine cowl.

The seat is the same that comes on the Gixxer SF 250, and also the exhaust muffler. On the tank shroud you see identical ‘Gixxer’ graphics like the one on updated SF 155. The new Gixxer continues with the single-piece tall-set handlebar for relaxed city commuting.

The updated Gixxer will continue with the same 155cc air-cooled engine engine, that produces 14.1 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension will remain the same – telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Gixxer already came with ABS earlier, so it will continue with front disc brake and ABS as standard, with a rear disc offered as an option.

However, do not expect the bigger Gixxer 250 to get an identical design. The quarter-litre naked street will look more sporty and aggressive. The Gixxer 155 is likely to demand a premium of around Rs 4000-5000 over the outgoing version. Currently, it is priced at Rs 88,941 (ex-showroom Delhi ABS).
