The complete image of the Maruti XL6 has been leaked, giving us the proper idea of how it looks. The premium MPV will be launched later this month.

Just weeks ahead of its launch, the proper clear images of Maruti XL6 have been leaked. Yes, now you can see the premium MPV in full flesh, but just from the front. The XL6 will be launched in India on 21st August and as per our dealership sources, the unofficial bookings have also commenced for Rs 11,000 token.

As you see the images of Maruti XL6, it gets a completely revised front portion with a two-slat chrome grille and sharper LED projector headlamps. The front bumper undergoes some revision and it gets larger air-vents placed much lower.

You also get a new faux aluminium skid plate at the front as well as the back. The plastic body cladding around the wheel arches, door panels and the fog lamp housing make it look more rugged than the regular Ertiga.

The alloy wheels are the same but get a blacked-out treatment. Further, it gets bolder and sharper creases on the side as well as the bonnet. Lastly, complimenting the sporty looks of XL6 are the roof rails with brush silver finish.

The Maruti XL6 will come with 6 individual captain seats, instead of the 7-seats from the regular Ertiga. It is actually based on the Ertiga, but gets a slightly revised styling and comes in a bit bigger as well.

Reports say that the XL6 will be nearly 50mm longer, 40mm wider and 10mm taller. The wheelbase will remain the same at 2740mm, but we expect higher ground clearance as well. The 6-seat layout will offer a more comfortable and a roomy cabin feeling.

Additional features will include auto climate control, cruise control, a blacked-out dashboard and height-adjustable driver seat. Since the XL6 will be based on the top-spec Alpha and Zeta trims, it will get all the features from these variants.

We expect the XL6 to come only with a 1.5 Litre petrol engine, that recently came on the Ertiga and Ciaz. The newly developed mild-hybrid SHVS petrol unit might be BS-6 compliant as well. As for the diesel engine, it is unlikely to be available right now, but might be available sometime later.
