MV Agusta Tourismo Veloce 800 gets the same engine from the Brutale 800 and this is brandโ€™s first ever motorcycle in the adventure tourer segment but the price is even bigger than the name.

Motoroyale Kinetic has launched the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 in India today at a price of Rs. 18.99 lakhs, ex-showroom. This is the first adventure tourer motorcycle from MV Agusta. The launch of the motorcycle happened alongside the inauguration of Kinetic’s latest Motoroyale showroom in Navi Mumbai which is now their 7th showroom. The MV Agusta Turismo Velocce 800 rivals against the likes of the Triumph Tiger 800, the BMW F850 GS and Ducati Multistrada 950 in India.

The Turismo Veloce 800 is available in four variants globally – Turismo Veloce 800, Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso, Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso SCS, and Turismo Veloce RC SCS. However, India only gets the XX variant as of now. For the price it has been introduced at, the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is the most expensive bike in its segment and still, the Ducati Multistrada has more numbers on the paper to offer you.

However, MV Agusta makes the most exclusive motorcycles in the world and if you want exclusivity, the price tag of the Turismo Veloce 800 does not seem all that bad. And moreover, you get a sensationally beautiful looking motorcycle in your hands. Visually, itโ€™s immediately identifiable as a MV Agusta and the face seems to be lot inspired from the F3 and F4ย fully-faired motorcycles. The motorcycle gets diamond shaped LED headlight, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards with turn indicators, a muscular fuel tank and an exhaust that looks identical to the Brutale 800โ€™s unit. The completely exposed engine and parts of the trellis frame look amazing too.ย

The MV Agusta Tourismo Veloce 800 is powered by a 798cc in-line 3-cylinder engine that churns out 111PS of power at 10,150rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 7100rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that also comes with a bi-directional quick-shifter. The Turismo Veloce also features a counter-rotating crankshaft which negates the gyroscopic effect on the wheels, making the bike more agile and nimble.ย In case you did not know, this engine is the same engine thatโ€™s found in the F3 or the Brutale 800 and it has been tuned so that 90% of the torque is available from as low as 3,800 rpm.
