Prominent actor-turned-producer Akash Chaudhary has purchased a swanky new Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It is a common product for many celebrities who wish to commence their journey with the German luxury car marque. C-Class is among the inexpensive models from Mercedes-Benz which is aimed at fetching huge volumes. Akash Chaudhary becomes the latest star to get his hands on one. He is also a former Mr. India. The specifics of this case stem from autohangar on Instagram. This handle often uploads content around the latest celebs who buy Mercedes products. On this occasion, the team had Akash walk into the dealership to take delivery of his luxury sedan. The showroom staff congratulated the former Mr. India and posed for a few photographs with him. The customary decoration made the entire experience celebratory. After taking off the cover from the car, the former actor posed for a few images with the new car in the background.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class strikes a great balance between offering modern amenities and powerful engines without charging an astronomical premium. On the inside, it offers the latest tech and convenience features to pamper the user experience. Under its hood sits a peppy 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine which produces a decent 204 hp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, this configuration achieves 100 km/h from a standstill in just 7.3 seconds. In the diesel guise, there are two variants on offer – C220d and C300d.
The power and torque figures are 200 hp / 440 Nm and 265 hp / 550 Nm, respectively. Both these also use the 9-speed automatic gearbox. In the most powerful settings, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in a mere 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is over 4.75 m long and possess a wheelbase of a generous 2.86 m. The prices range from Rs 61.85 lakh to Rs 69 lakh, ex-showroom.
