Months are being spotted and speculated for the Indian market, Royal Enfield has finally launched the Bullet Trials 350 and 500. The newly launched models are based on the regular Bullet series but with some modifications.

Bookings have commenced for both the variants across all Royal Enfield dealerships. You can now see and test ride the Bullet Trials 350 and 500. The deliveries are scheduled to commence by tomorrow.
Trials 350 gets the same chassis, engine, suspension and braking setup. However, certain parts and styling has been thoroughly updated for it to offer an off-roading feel.
For starters, both the bikes get a single seat with a luggage rack, an upswept exhaust, rubber gaiters on the front suspension, dual-purpose CEAT tires and a headlamp cover.
Bullet Trials 350 gets a red coloured frame and the Trials 500 uses a Khaki green one. Lots of chrome fillings can be found on the bikes. The new 3D ‘Royal Enfield’ logo is also seen on the Interceptor 650.
Despite aimed for off-roading, the suspension setup has not been tweaked. The suspension travel has been increased by a bit. The power figures also remain the same.
Bullet Trials 350 uses the same 346cc air-cooled engine, that is capable of producing 19 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque. The Trials 500 uses the 499cc air-cooled engine that produces 27 BHP and 41.3 Nm of peak torque.
For braking purposes, both the bikes get a 280mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake, paired with dual-channel ABS.
In this price range, the Bullet Trials does not have any rival. However, between the prices of Trials 350 and 500, one can opt for a better offroader – Himalayan – which goes for Rs 1.82 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
