Harley Davidson has launched the Street Rod 750 in India. The Street Rod, which is what Harley is calling it, is based on the Harley Davidson Street 750. However, it looks more stylish due to the visual updates it carries over the Street 750. Also, while braking performance has been the Achilles Heel of the Street 750, the Street Rod 750 gets dual 300 mm disc brakes (with ABS) to offer a better braking performance. Powering the Harley Street Rod 750 is a new High Output Revolution X 750 engine. While the bore and stroke are identical to the Street 750’s engine, it delivers 11% more power and 5% more torque. Also, the compression ration is now 12:1 (from 11:1). The engine comes mated to a 6-speed Manual Transmission. It is BS-IV compliant. Also, the bike gets a better braking system, which is thanks to the dual 300 mm disc brakes. Apart from all this, there is a slight change in rake and wheelbase, too.
