Kia is soon going to launch the Seltos Anniversary Edition which will get many cosmetic upgrades but only for the HTX and HTX+ variants.
This August Kia completed its first anniversary in India with the launch of Seltos. Now, to mark its one year anniversary, Kia is launching the anniversary edition of the SUV in a couple of days. We have got our hands on the brochure and as per reports, the Limited Edition has already reached the dealership yards.
On the outside, Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition will get new skid plate with silver diffuser fins, Tangerine fog lamp bezel, Tangerine inserts in the side sill, 17-inch Raven Black Alloy wheels, Black Skid Place, Tangerine Dual Muffler Design and an inscription. It will be available in four colours including Aurora Black, Gravity Grey/Black, Glacier White/Black and Steel Silver/Black.

Further, it will also get Smart Key Remote Engine start for the Manual variants. Due to the addition of skid plates, the length will increase by 60mm but the interior space will remain the same as earlier. Inside the cabin, changes will include new Raven Black leatherette seats, Blacked out crash pad and door trims.
In terms of specifications, there will be no change. It will continue with the same 1.5 Litre petrol and 1.5 Litre diesel engines, both of them producing 115 PS. Gearbox options for the petrol motor will include a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed IVT. That for the diesel motor will be a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed torque converter unit.
We are expecting Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition to demand about Rs 20,000 more than the regular variants since all the changes are related to cosmetic upgrades only. Prices of the HTX variants start at Rs 13.34 Lakhs up to Rs 16.49 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The regular variants are priced from Rs 9.89 Lakhs up to Rs 17.29 Lakhs.
