Honda Elevate Waiting Period Reaches 4 Months Even Before Launch

Honda is yet to announce the new Honda Elevate SUV in India. However, it already has a waiting period of 4 months.

The new Honda Elevate comes with a new design inside and out. Honda is expected to launch the mid-size SUV in the first week of September this year. However, it already has a long waiting period. The customers looking to buy the new SUV will have to wait for up to 4 months (approximately 16-18 weeks) to get the delivery. The Indian prices will be revealed ahead of the festive season. Recently, the company shared the official ARAI figures for Elevate’s performance and some other intriguing details. Let’s take a closer look.

Honda Elevate Booking Details

According to Honda, there is a huge interest in Elevate among Indian customers. It also added that so far existing Honda buyers have made 40% of the bookings for the upcoming SUV. The Honda Elevate SUV was unveiled on June 6th this year. Indian customers can book the new SUV by putting down a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The mid-size SUV comes with a completely new design. It shared its platform with the Honda City sedan. The new car comes with faux skid plates, roof rails, and 17-inch machined alloy wheels. Additionally, it adds all-LED headlamps, tail lamps, and fog lamps. On the inside, the Honda Elevate SUV gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument console, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and a sunroof.

The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine (similar to the Honda City sedan) that offers 121 PS of peak power and 145 Nm of maximum torque. For transmission, it can be paired with both a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox options. The mid-size SUV comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.31 kmpl for the manual variant. On the other hand, the CVT variant provides a fuel efficiency of 16.92 kmpl. Safety features on the car include six airbags, Level-2 ADAS, and a lane watch camera.
