In addition to that, there will also be the 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine carried over from the current lineup that makes 115 PS and 260 Nm of peak power and torque. The new model could also get the much-awaited DCT automatic gearbox apart from the standard 6-speed manual. At the moment, the Nexon ranges from Rs 7.80 lakh to Rs 14.35 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift model could command a premium over these prices. What We Think
While a late bloomer, the Tata Nexon has been ruling over the sales charts of its segment for a while now. That said, the advent of fresher competition in the form of the second-gen Brezza and the updated Hyundai Venue has certainly managed to leave a dent on the popularity of this sub-4-metre SUV. Hence, another facelift is exactly something that can help the Nexon come back into the limelight. A refreshed front and rear facade, along with a more modern CURVV-inspired interior with additional features can surely help this Tata SUV with class-leading sales for a long time to come.
