Virat Kohli Reveals Why He Bought Tata Safari as his First Car

King Kohli’s deep love for automobiles is evident from his remarkable car collection. Yet, he has recently voiced a shift in his perspective, emphasizing that it’s no longer just about a car’s performance, but rather its practicality and comfort. Virat Kohli and his First Car

This video comes from Stars Sports on YouTube. He is having a candid discussion with the host. They are talking about Virat’s life. In this section, the topic revolved around cars. Virat reveals that the very first car he purchased was a Tata Safari. Note that this is not the same Safari which is available in the market today. He bought it because it carried a huge road presence. In fact, he even mentions that people used to get out of the way when the SUV moved. That was the motivation behind purchasing it.

He also mentions that he and his brother were travelling in the SUV for the first time. They went to the petrol pump to get the tank filled. However, they completely forgot that the Safari was a diesel car and ended up getting the tank filled with petrol instead. As they started to move out of the petrol pump, the vehicle started behaving unusually. That’s when they realised the exact reason for that. They had to call a mechanic to get the petrol drained from the fuel tank of the SUV. It is rather common for people to fill petrol in a diesel car, especially when they have bought it for the first time.
