Special Arrangements

That is simply unprecedented. However, we have witnessed some pretty incredible configurations in the past where such special arrangements had to be made to ensure the smooth transportation of heavy machinery across our highways. Some temporary roads and bridges are created to ensure that the regular traffic flow is not interrupted. The drivers generally drive day and night. There are additional escort vehicles and multiple people to take care of the movement apart from the driver.

All these factors represent just how daunting this task is. We know that there are a lot of large factories and industries in many parts of the country. Roads are the only way to reach all corners of India. Hence, such occasions are becoming increasingly common these days. Also, the condition of our infrastructure is improving with each passing year. Hopefully, we will get to a place where transporting such large trucks and trailers won’t be an issue for us at all.
