Currently, Jawa Motorcycles are produced at the Pithampur plant. Around 200 bikes are made per day in a single shift. Anupam Thareja, co-founder of Classic Legends, at the dealership launch event mentioned that they will ensure the quality of the bike, despite having low production capacity.

Also, Classic Legends has confirmed that it will revamp its production for a better production capacity. However, the said process will take some time.

On the other hand, Royal Enfield Classic 350 is making more than 40,000 units per month. Classic 350 is the prime competitor of Jawa, as they fall in a similar price range and similar power figures.

Classic 350 is the best selling premium motorcycle, making it to the top-10 selling motorcycles of the year. Jawa Motorcycles plans to capture their market slowly, with time.

The dealership openings are also on the track. The first ones have opened up in Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR. Jawa Motorcycles will have around 104 dealerships across the country by March 2019.

Jawa Motorcycles lineup includes Jawa, Jawa Forty-Two and Perak. While Jawa and Forty-Two are classic roadsters, Perak is a factory-built custom Bobber. Perak will be available later in the market.

Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two are now available with single-channel ABS as standard with a dual-channel ABS as an option. Owing to public demand, Classic Legends introduced dual-ABS in the variants.
