Prominent personality Malaika Arora has recently got her hands on the new Mahindra Thar Roxx. Malaika Arora Buys New Mahindra Thar Roxx

While taking the delivery of the new SUV, she is seen doing the ritualistic puja of the new vehicle to ward off the evil eye and pray for blessings. As expected, some people are gathered around her to commemorate this occasion. This clearly shows the adventurous side of Malaika. Even though the SUV is constructed for harsh terrains and off-tarmac expeditions, many people use it for their daily lives just because of its imposing road presence.
The Thar Roxx is offered with both petrol and diesel engine choices, along with manual and automatic transmission options. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk turbo-diesel engine. The petrol unit produces 162 PS and 330 Nm with the 6-speed manual, while the automatic version delivers 177 PS and 380 Nm. Similarly, the diesel engine develops 163 PS and 330 Nm in manual guise, whereas the automatic churns out 175 PS and 370 Nm of peak power and torque. As mentioned earlier, the advanced 4×4 drivetrain is reserved for the higher diesel variants. The top-spec trims also come equipped with dedicated off-roading features such as Intelli-Turn, which helps reduce the turning radius during challenging off-road manoeuvres.
