Maruti Celerio ZXi AMT goes on sale at INR 4.99 lacs
While the upcoming Maruti Celerio diesel variants will please the economy conscious, also attracting many new car buyers to Maruti Suzuki dealerships is the just launched Celerio ZXi AMT variant. The new variant is for those who wish to drive home a fully-loaded AGS (Automated Gear Shift) variant of the Suzuki’s city car. It maybe noted that the Celerio AMT has witnessed great demand, so much that almost half the total sales of the Celerio come from the AMT-equipped models. Until today, the AMT variant was available only with the LXi and the VXi trims and hence, buyers of the AMT variant missed out on features like ABS, mag wheels and airbags. Now, however, things should change as Maruti has just launched the ZXi AMT variant of the Celerio.

Specs
Other than the presence of the AMT, the new variant remains mechanically unchanged. This means that it continues to be powered by the same 998cc K-Next petrol motor that powers the other variants. This engine has a maximum power of 68 PS power @ 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 90 Nm @ 3500 rpm.
