At the inaugural 2022 Pre-Owned Car Award, Maruti Suzuki went home with full hands. One of the winners of the company was the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Despite many competent rivals, the car won the 2022 pre-owned car of the year award. The credit for the award goes to Brezzaโs space, features, and reliability. Additionally, the company has an excellent service network. While the pre-owned Brezzas are quite expensive to purchase, the pros outweigh the cons. The car has a clear advantage over its rivals.
The 5-seater car sports a 1.5-liter petrol engine (105PS/138Nm). It is paired with a standard 5-speed manual and an optional 4-speed AT. The SUV comes with features like cruise control, a height-adjustable driverโs seat, auto AC, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rain-sensing wipers, and push-button start/stop. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is all set to get a new facelifted avatar in the Indian market. As per our sources, the 2022 Maruti Brezza will arrive in July this year. It is expected to feature the same overall silhouette of the current-gen model with few changes like a funky front grille, LED headlamps with sharp edges, a sculpted fender on the side, chunky wheel arches, blacked-out A, B, and C-pillars, roof rails, an integrated roof spoiler on the back, and sleek LED taillamps
The 2022 Maruti Brezza is likely to be powered with the same 1.5-liter petrol engine as the current-gen model. This engine outputs 105 hp and 138 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Maruti might also add the Smart Hybrid Technology for better fuel efficiency. Additionally, several reports also suggested that Maruti is planning to reintroduce the diesel engine with the new Brezza.
