Mercedes Benz has launched the mid-life facelift version of the C-Class sedan. It gets some cosmetic upgrades and tweaks on the exterior, some feature additions on the inside and most importantly, a BS-VI diesel engine. Ahead of the emission norms kicking from 2020, Mercedes has already made it BS-VI engine compliant. It is one of the most successful Mercedes Benz models. The range starts with the base variant C 220d Prime, C 220d Progressive, and the top-end C 300d AMG. The price range starts from Rs 40 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 48.50 Lakhs (ex-showroom price).

Inside the cabin, it gets a newly designed steering wheel, a dual-touchpad system, and a new 10.25-inch COMAND infotainment system. The dual-touchpad system is borrowed from the E-Class and the S-Class sedans. The top-end C 300D also comes with active parking assist. The C 300D also gets a smartphone integration package.
Mercedes Benz C-Class gets the same 2.0 Litre diesel engine under the hood. However, now it gets two states of tuning. The engine of C 300D churns out 245 BHP of power and 500 Nm of torque. The other two variants are lesser powerful. Their engine produces around 194 BHP of power and 400 Nm of torque.
