Royal Enfield Classic 350 is set to receive a new update this month, which will be the biggest since its launch in India. The new Classic has already started reaching dealerships ahead of its reported launch this month.
Ahead of that, our dealership sources confirmed the commencement of bookings of new Royal Enfield Classic 350. The booking amount has been set for Rs 10,000. We expect the deliveries to commence by the end of this month.
The new generation of Classic gets major mechanical upgrades, that makes it lighter and more easy to handle. The frame has been revised and the position of the sprocket has been interchanged with the rear disc brake setup.
Styling upgrades include new fenders, refreshed tail lamp styling, new headlamps and an analogue instrument console with small MID for riding range, odometer, gear indicator and more. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 is on its way to becoming a modern motorcycle.
The old 346cc air-cooled engine with Twin-Spark ignition will also get some major upgrades. While the engine capacity will remain the same, fuel injection will be added. The new engine will produce more power and offer better fuel economy as well.
Other upgrades will include the addition of alloy wheels as an option, more comfortable seats and a new ‘Royal Enfield’ insignia as well. We are expecting RE to offer more colour options as well, with the new Classic.
New Royal Enfield Classic 350 will demand a price hike of around Rs 10,000 over the BS-4 version. The outgoing model starts at Rs 1.54 Lakhs up to Rs 1.66 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The same set of upgrades will also come on the Thunderbird 350 and Bullet 350.
