The new iteration of the compact SUV is clearly looking like it will be quite attractive for potential buyers, courtesy of a long features list starting right from the base trim
The 2025 Hyundai Venue has been recorded in its first-ever walkaround. The new-gen compact SUV bears striking exterior alterations in comparison to the outgoing model. This includes a bolder from section with an LED light strip and quad-LED headlamps, a new and broad grille, a silver skid plate and a sporty bumper. On this sides of this model, we see steel wheels with dark grey wheel covers, suggesting that this is not the top trim. This is also reiterated when we go to the back where we don’t see the rear wiper.
Thereafter, we get to witness the interior. Here, the most prominent bits include the curved display for the driver’s instrument cluster and infotainment display, a new steering wheel similar to Creta Electric, steering-mounted controls, new door panels, push button start-stop, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6 airbags, automatic AC, plenty of space on the inside, shark fin antenna, etc. Clearly, the Korean auto giant has ensured that it will attract new buyers to this vehicle. The introductory prices start at Rs 7.90 lakh and go up to Rs 15.51 lakh, ex-showroom.
Interior Comfort and Practicality
Hyundai has also updated the interior space of the new Venue. We already know that it is wider than the outgoing model and also has an increased wheelbase. These are key parameters to define the cabin space of any car. In this video by harshncrx, we see two people sitting on the rear seat of the new Venue. In fact, one of the persons sitting here is the owner of the existing Venue. He confirms that the shoulder room has been significantly increased in the new Venue due to the increased width.
Apart from that, he claims that the old Venue suffered with the issue of backache for the occupants on long journeys due to the seat design. However, that has also been fixed in the new SUV. I must offer a disclaimer here that these are the views of the Venue owner. Finally, the two people sitting at the back also highlight the wide armrest which ensures that there is still some room left after the two guys rest their arms on it. In a separate video on Car Blog India’s Instagram uploaded in the morning today, one can see just how spacious the boot compartment of the new Venue is. Hence, the elongated wheelbase and width will bring practical improvements for everyday use. The list of features include:

Will New Hyundai Venue’s Base Model Also Feel Fully-Loaded?
Updated on 31.10.2025 – The new Hyundai Venue was spotted in its base trim in all its glory ahead of the launch on November 4. Note that the bookings are already underway for an amount of Rs 25,000. Venue has been among the highest-selling products in this category. The Korean auto giant has constantly kept it updated to keep the interest of the potential buyers high. However, with the new model, Hyundai has taken things to a whole new level. For now, let us take a look at what the base model will offer.
New Hyundai Venue Base Model Walkaround
The video captures the exterior and interior of the base trim. At the front, we see the projector headlamps with a prominent grille and a rugged skid plate. Moving down the sides showcases black wheel covers for steel wheels, which enhance the appearance of even this base variant. I truly find the side body cladding and wheel arches quite adventurous. Hence, it is evident that Hyundai has designed the variants of the new Venue intelligently to ensure that the customers won’t feel like they own the low trim from the outside or inside.
Moving inside the cabin reveals the Creta Electric-like steering wheel. It also gets buttons to control multimedia, which is pretty cool. However, the biggest talking point has to be the dual curved display (one for the driver’s instrument cluster and one for the infotainment) and an electric sunroof. Recognizing the popularity of sunroofs among Indian car buyers, Hyundai will offer it from the base model itself. Apart from that, the new interior theme and layout certainly indicate that this car belongs to a segment higher. Safety amenities include all four disc brakes, 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD as standard.
My View
The new Hyundai Venue certainly looks promising, not just in terms of what it comes equipped with, but also how Hyundai plans to position the variants. What remains to be seen now is the pricing. Knowing Hyundai, it understands the mindset of the Indian customers and will definitely ensure that with variants and pricing, it is able to reach a wide range of potential buyers. More details will emerge on November 4, 2025.

Having followed Hyundai’s product strategy in India for years, I can say the brand has mastered the art of delivering perceived value, and the new Venue is a textbook example. Offering premium features like a dual-screen setup and even a sunroof in the base trim is a bold move that could reset expectations in the compact SUV space. Hyundai clearly understands that today’s buyer wants a “top-end experience” at every price point, and this updated Venue seems perfectly tuned to that sentiment.
