Renault Kiger has become quite popular in the Indian market. Now, it has reached a new production milestone in India. The company claims that it has rolled out 50,000 units of the Renault Kiger from its production plant in Chennai. The sub-four-metre SUV has received a good response from Indian buyers since its launch. It is among the five best-selling compact SUVs in India. To celebrate the new milestone, the brand has introduced a new Stealth Black exterior colour model.

The Renault Kiger has been priced in India at Rs 5.99 lakh – Rs 10.62 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engine that offers 98 bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque. The compact SUV offers fuel efficiency of 20.5 km/l. The popular car comes in seven colour schemes with optional four Dual-tone combinations. Now, the company has added a new Stealth Black colour option for the RXT(0) and RXZ variants (in both engine options). The five-seater car comes in five trims – RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT (O), and RXZ.
The sub-4m SUV comes with features like auto climate control, push-button start/stop, LED headlights, wireless phone charging, cruise control, and a PM2.5 air filter. Additionally, the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features on the Renault Kiger include ABS with EBD, up to four airbags, and rear parking sensors. It competes with the likes of Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and Tata Nexon.

The Renault Kiger is now available in many countries (South Africa, Indonesia, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia) Seychelles, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan, Bermuda and Brunei). Recently, it was awarded the 4-Star Safety Rating for Adult occupant safety by Global NCAP. Additionally, the company has introduced a new MY22 edition of the Renault Kiger. The Renault Kiger MY22 edition comes in two engine options – a 1.0L Energy Engine (with MT and EASY-R AMT transmissions) and a 1.0L Turbo (with MT and X-TRONIC CVT transmissions).
