Renault is gearing up to launch its new 7-seater car, the Triber. It is going to be launched in India in August, as a rival to hatchbacks ranging between 5-7 Lakhs, like Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10.
The dimensions, prices and colour options of the Triber have already been leaked earlier. Now, Team-BHP has leaked the entire features list of Renault Triber, along with a brochure.
On the outside, it gets LED DRLs and projector headlamps with skid plates. Inside the cabin, you get a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Smart Access Card for Keyless Entry and Push Start Button.
Other features include a 3-spoke steering wheel, tilt adjust, digital instrument console, a 3.5-inch MID display, Voice Recognition, Eco-Mode, Cooled Glove Box, Two 12V charging sockets, independent AC units for all the rows and Remote Tail Gate unlock.
As told earlier, it can seat up to 7 people. It can be customized for different scenarios such as life mode (5 Seats), Tribe Mode (7 seats), Camp Mode (2 Seats) and Surf Mode (4 Seats). The third row of seat is completely removable.
Safety features onboard will include four airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, speed alert, speed-sensing door lock, impact sensing door unlock and seat belt reminder.
These are likely the features of the top-spec variants of Renault Triber. Further, the car is 3990mm long, 1739mm wide and 1637mm tall. The wheelbase stands at 2636mm and the ground clearance is 182mm. The boot capacity ranges between 84 litres to 625 litres, based on the configuration.
It will be available with a single 1.0 Litre petrol engine, that produces 71 BHP and 96 Nm of peak torque. The motor will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT option as well.
Triber is going to be available in four trims, namely, RXE, RXS, RXT and RXZ. The RXZ will be the top-spec variant. As far as the prices go, it is likely to start off at around Rs 4.4 Lakhs going up to Rs 5.8 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
