This information came to the surface after the actor’s interview with The Hollywood Reporter where he talks about his upcoming docuseries “Downey’s Dream Cars”. As a part of the conversation, Robert was quoted saying, “I’m going to sweepstakes them and donate all the proceeds to green tech companies, because this will be my legacy.” He added, “You schmuck … what are you trying to prove?” after having a long look at all the insane cars he had in his garage.

This is bound to set a great precedent which we hope others will follow. Robert Downey Jr. is a billionaire and has owned tons of luxury cars in his lifetime. It looks like he has become practical and understood the uselessness of it all. But the electricity to charge the EVs must also be from renewable sources of energy.
