A three-year-old girl was sleeping in a parking lot when she was crushed to death by a Skoda Kushaq in the hands of an unaware driver
In a shocking incident, a three-year-old child was run over by a Skoda Kushaq in an apartment complex in Hyderabad. The little girl was sleeping when the vehicle entered the parking area on Wednesday evening. The person driving the SUV claims that he did not see the girl as she was covered in a bedsheet and accidentally ran her over. The police reported that the girl was killed on the spot. The case was reported at the Hayathnagar police station.

Sleeping Girl Unnoticed by Skoda Kushaq Driver
Police inspector H Venkateshwarlu shared that the girl’s parents were laborers working on the construction site of a building adjacent to the Balaji Arcade apartment where the incident occurred. They come from Karnataka’s Kalburgi. As it was hot outside, Kavitha (mother of two) brought her daughter to the apartment and put her to sleep in the shade in the parking area. Mr. Hari Ramakrishna is a resident of the Balaji Arcade apartment. He did not notice the girl sleeping in the passage while he was trying to park his Skoda Kushaq.

The child’s mother Kavitha seemed distraught after the incident. “I told the family of the apartment’s watchman to take care of my daughter. In fact, I, myself, went into the apartment twice to see that there is no disturbance to my daughter. But the tragedy happened in a matter of seconds,” said Kavitha. She added that the car owner immediately took the girl to the hospital, but she was declared dead. The whole incident was captured on a CCTV camera.

Case Registered Against Driver
A case has been registered against the driver of the Skoda Kushaq. “We have registered a case under Section 304-A (causing death by negligence) against Ramakrishna and are investigating the case. The driver told us that he hadn’t noticed the girl as she was covered with a bed sheet,” the police inspector said. Mr. Ramakrishna is an interior designer. While his wife works as a sub-inspector in the Prohibition and Excise department. This is an eye-opening case that alarms you about being vigilant while driving. We must be careful of our surroundings while driving to avoid such mishaps.
