Finally, the German carmaker is offering benefits and bonuses worth up to Rs 3.5 lakh on its premium Tiguan SUV. Note that Tiguan is a high-end SUV which caters to a niche audience. Volkswagen has kept it updated from time to time to keep the interest of the buyers intact. But the price tag of Rs 35.17 lakh, ex-showroom is too close to the popular SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner. Hence, people tend to spend some more and get the mighty capable and reliable 7-seat off-roader. As a result, the sales numbers for the Tiguan have been depleting for a long time.
