In a new YouTube video by Arun Panwar, the Tata Harrier explains that they were not happy with the interiors of the car. After running the vehicle for 200kms, they sold the White Harrier. In a nutshell, the SUV did not offer the luxurious feel they were looking for. The interiors including the dashboard were not up to the mark. The owner is very happy with the Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Diesel Automatic. It seemed to have exceeded their expectations with its interiors, luxury features, safety enhancements, and even the company’s service. However, the cons include a fixed passenger seat on the front, a manual rear-view mirror, and a boot.
The Mahindra XUV700 is one of the most popular SUVs in the country. Despite long waiting periods, the mid-size SUV is getting costlier and more popular. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol unit that offers a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. Whereas the Diesel engine outputs 155 PS/ 360 Nm in the lower versions and 185 PS/ 420 Nm (450 Nm in automatic variant) in the higher positioned models. Both the petrol and diesel engine variants come with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices. Additional features on the SUV include Smart Door Handles, built-in Alexa integration, Intelligence AdrenoX, a 3D Sound System with 12 speakers, and more.
On the other hand, the Tata Harrier comes with a price tag of Rs 14.39 – 21.19 Lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a Fiat-sourced 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel motor that offers a maximum power of 170PS and a peak torque of 350Nm, paired with a standard 6-speed MT and an optional 6-speed torque converter. The popular SUV comes with dual-tone alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features include an electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, and dual front airbags.
