The Glanza gets several exterior and interior accessories. It gets sporty aero kits on the outside and two options for your interior themes as well.
Toyota just launched the Glanza hatchback last week at a very competitive starting price of Rs. 7.22 lakhs, ex-showroom. The Glanza is essentially a rebadged Baleno an will be sold in two trims – G and V – corresponding to the Alpha and Zeta variants of the Baleno. The deliveries of the hatchback have already commenced and the Toyota Glanza can now be had with a unique set of accessories.
The Glanza looks exactly similar to the Baleno, save some Toyota badges here and there. So to differentiate the Glanza from the Baleno, Toyota is offering a host of exterior and interior accessories to personalize your Glanza. Moreover, the word ‘Glanza’ comes from the German word ‘Glanz’ which means brillance or sparkle. These set of accessories will sure make the Glanza more brilliant.
The Toyota Glanza exterior accessories include Bumper Corner Protection, Rear Door Garnish, Side Mold Chrome, Side Mold Black/White/Silver/Grey, Mud Guard, Door Visor with/without Chrome Insert, scuff plates and even window sun shades. It also gets a rather cool looking Aero Kit which includes front bumper spoiler, sporty side skirts, and a rear bumper spoiler.
On the inside, customers can choose between two interior themes or styling kits with either blue plastic or wooden inserts on the dashboard, door handles and around the gear lever. Moreover, there’s an entire array of seats covers that customers can choose from and that includes – Silver Carbon Seat Cover, Black with Silver Outline Seat Cover, Rhombus Grid Seat Cover, Rising Line Seat Cover, Horizontal Line Seat Cover, Black With Red Outline Seat Cover, Flow Pattern Seat Cover, Square Grid Seat Cover, V-Line Pattern Seat Cover, Velvet Seat Cover, Fabric Seat Cover and Leather Seat Cover.
Apart from these exterior and interior accessories, the Glanza also gets other accessories like car cushion with red/white stitching, floor mats with red stitching, silver car cover, 3D trunk mat in the boot, etc.
The Toyota Glanza gets two engine options – a 1.2L, DualJet petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology that produces 90 bhp of power and healthy torque of 113 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and comes only in the G variant. The other engine is the 1.2L, K12B petrol engine which produces 82 bhp with 115 Nm of peak torque. The engine is either mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
The Glanza is offered in five colour options – Cafe White, Sportin’ Red, Insta Blue, Gaming Grey and Enticing Silver. The Glanza also sports a different grille design from the Baleno and that’s the only key difference apart from the badge and these accessories perhaps, to tell the two cars apart. Toyota Glanza competes with the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and the Honda Jazz.
