Toyota Innova Crysta is the most popular name in the MPV segment of our country. Toyota launched the Innova back in 2005. It has received tons of new versions ever since. In a bid to get rid of the taxi image it created, the Japanese carmaker introduced the Innova Crysta in 2016. The aim was to cater to customers looking for a premium version. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Toyota has even introduced the Innova Hycross version which is an even more premium iteration. But it is still increasing the prices of the Crysta.

What We Think
No one can deny the incredible impact that this MPV has had on our market. It still remains the most popular MPV in its segment in the country. Some of the reasons for its immense success include the reliability associated with Toyota powertrains, low maintenance costs, practicality and ruggedness. With the way things are going, the Innova moniker still has incredible potential going forward. It might well be in the form of either the Crysta or Hycross or any new model Toyota decides to introduce.
