Digital TRD Version of the Toyota Innova Hycross

  • Toyota Innova Hycross has been launched in India recently.
  • This digital iteration represents the TRD version of the SUV-ish MPV.
  • There are sporty design elements to enhance the aesthetics of the regular Innova Hycross.

This TRD version of the Toyota Innova Hycross is quite sporty. For the uninitiated, TRD refers to the Toyota Racing Division which is an in-house department of the Japanese auto giant. It is a tuning shop that modifies regular street cars for a racing track-oriented performance around the world. Cars officially tuned by TRD have the reliability of years of expertise from Toyota in the field. Note that this is just a digital representation of Hycross by an automobile designer and enthusiast. Let us check out the details here.

The rendition has been developed by Bimble Designs on Instagram. It captures a detailed modification of the existing Innova Hycross. The most noticeable difference at the front is the LED DRLs integrated into the headlight cluster with a zig-zag pattern. In addition to that, the entire front fascia is finished in a sporty black theme with chrome embellishments on the grille, around the fog lamp housing, and under the bumper in the form of a sturdy skid plate and more.

On the sides, this version looks like a low-slung bagged body type with little gap between the wheel arches and tyres. The side pillars are blacked-out and the side body cladding is all-black too. Another cool aspect of the side profile is the attractive black alloys with red brake callipers. There is a roof-mounted rear spoiler, a panoramic sunroof and a wide-body shape due to the wide wheel arches. All in all, this certainly looks like a mean and aggressive version of the Innova Hycross and something that the TRD could consider.
