Upcoming Ford SUV & Aspire EV – Specifications
The upcoming announcement of the alliance between Ford and Mahindra will give rise to the upcoming Ford SUV and Aspire Electric. As many competitors in the international market have been fighting for the entry level electric car post, the Aspire electric would be Ford’s answer. Taking into consideration Mahindra’s electric feat and Ford’s global presence, the upcoming products from the alliance could benefit both the automakers equally. The Aspire Electric could borrow its tech from the e-Verito while better battery management tech from Ford will allow for extended range and quicker recharge. The Aspire EV will be offered in India as well as exported to other markets.
The second product is a new c-segment SUV. The upcoming Ford SUV will be built on Mahindra’s W601 platform and will fill the gap between Ecosport and Endeavour. Considering both the SUV feature ‘E’ as the initiation of their name, the new SUV might take this ahead. Upon launch, the upcoming Ford SUV will compete with the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tuscon and Tata H5X SUV.
