Cricketer Wriddhiman Saha recently brought home a brand-new luxury car. Sharing this accomplishment on social media, the 39-year-old cricketer mentions it was always his dream to own a BMW. Interestingly, his Bimmer in question here is the Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom) X7 flagship SUV.
Wriddhiman Saha Realizes His Dream of 29 Years
Sharing the visuals of his new ride, Wriddhiman Saha wrote: “From dreaming as a 12-year-old to realizing it at the near end of my career, bringing home this BMW is a testament that good things come to those who wait. An emotional moment for me and my family.” In the picture, you can see Saha taking delivery of the vehicle. His post has been liked by famous cricketers like Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, and Surya Kumar Yadav.
Saha’s BMW X7 features Sapphire Black paint along with Tartufo leather upholstery. While we don’t know what variant he has chosen, the xDrive40i variant of the SUV features a petrol mill that outputs 375 bhp. It can propel the SUV to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 5.8 seconds. On the other hand, the diesel mill of the xDrive40d variant pushes out 335 bhp. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Regardless of the variant, the X7 benefits from a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to optimize fuel economy.

Both the mills work in tandem with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels through the carmaker’s xDrive system. Prices of the flagship SUV range from Rs 1.27 crore to Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
