What happens when you put a Yezdi Scrambler and Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in a drag race? A surprising result awaits.
Yezdi has launched a new Yezdi Scrambler in the Indian market alongside an adventure bike and a roadster model. Just like the original models, the new bike is powered by the 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that offers a maximum power of 30 bhp and 29 Nm of torque. It also comes with a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox. The new Yezdi Scrambler comes with a starting price of Rs 2.05 lakh. However, can it take on a Royal Enfield? A New video answers this question. Dani khan Vlogs has shared a drag race video on YouTube that shows the Yezdi Scrambler competing with Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Let us see how the two motorbikes perform in a straight-up drag race.
As you can see in the video above, the competition is essentially between a 334cc bike and a 350cc bike. However, many other factors affect the performance on the road. In the first race, the Yezdi Scrambler 334cc was a clear winner with a huge margin. It touched a top speed of 135Kmph. In the second drag race, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 was left behind once again. In one of the cleanest races, the Yezdi Scrambler showed its supremacy by maintaining a huge margin over the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. After multiple trials and bike switching, the result remained unaffected. It is important to note that YouTubers ensure safety while performing races and you should not try such stunts on roads as it could lead to some dangerous consequences.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is an updated version of the Thunderbird 350 X. The motorcycle is powered by a 349 cc BS6 air-cooled engine that produces 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. It also comes with a 5-speed gearbox. The company has also added four disc brakes. Additional features include Circular headlamps with LED DRLs, a USB Charging Port, Semi-Digital Instrument Cluster with Bluetooth Connectivity, LED taillamps, and more. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is priced between Rs 1.83 lakh and Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Let us know if you would choose the Yezdi Scrambler over this bike.
