Apache 160 4V gets a similar design to its sibling, RTR 200 4V. However, you may immediately be able to notice the difference between both the bikes.

The 2018 iteration of the Apache RTR 160 costs INR 81,490 for the base Carburettor variant. Carb with front and rear disk brakes cost INR 84,490, Range-topping EFI variant will cost INR 89,990. These prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V – Engine Specifications

The RTR 160 4V comes with a new 4-valve engine. This racing inspired engine produces 16.5 BHP PS of power along with 14.8 Nm of peak torque. With these specifications, the bike comes across as a new benchmark in its segment.

TVS claims that the RTR 160 will offer the best power to weight ratio among competitors. The bike comes with 5-speed gear-box.

The estimated mileage of the Apache RTR 160 4V is around 37-40 KMPL. It gets a fuel tank capacity of 12 Litres and reserve capacity of 2 Litres.

The riding range estimated is around 480 kms on a full tank. The top-speed recorded on the bike is around 114 km/hr.

The RTR 160 measures 2035 mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1050 mm in height. It gets a wheelbase of 1357 mm. Ground clearance stands at 180 mm while the seat height is 800 mm. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres.

The 2018 Apache RTR 160 comes with front disc brakes as standard. Two variants with both front and rear disk are also offered.

The bikes come with a double-cradle split synchro stiff frame design. Up-front, the bikes co0mes with double check valve DU bush front fork. The rear comes with monotube floating piston shocks.

The front disk brakes measure 270 mm. The rear disk brakes measure 200 mm while the drums at the rear measure 130 mm.

Finally, Apache gives a proper naked bike in its line up. RTR 160’s chassis is inspired by its race bike, the 165cc GP Proto and is equipped with the Double cradle Split Synchro STIFF. chassis. A big disadvantage that Apache carries is its weight.

In the front, it gets the LED headlamps inside a small headlamp cowl. On the cowl, the fully digital speedometer is also installed. Through the body, it gets various muscle lines with racing stripes decals.

Frankly, Apache offers the highest number of features and considerable better styling than its competitors.
