2019 Mahindra Gusto CBS

With the introduction of Mahindra Gusto 110 cc and 125cc with CBS, we expect the sales for Mahindra two-wheelers can hit off rightly.

Mahindra two-wheelers have been recording zero sales for the past few months as the products in its portfolio couldn’t comply with the government safety norms. The government norms say that all two-wheelers under 125cc must come with the CBS and that above 125cc should have ABS.

Now to improve their sales, Mahindra introduced a 2019 Gusto with CBS (combi-brake system) at a price tag of Rs 50,996 for the base DX trim. The updated scooter is now Rs 2,800 costlier than the non-CBS version.

The 110cc Gusto churns out 8 bhp with 9 Nm of torque while the 12cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 8.5 bhp and 10 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines receive a CVT gearbox. They get a 6L fuel tank and 165 mm of ground clearance.

Features onboard include LED pilot lamp, height adjustable seat, remote flip key, find me lamp are some of the features onboard. Braking wise, both the scooters get standard drum brake set up and receives telescopic suspension at the front and rear monoshock at the rear.
