Renault has recently launched its compact SUV, the Kiger and priced it extremely aggressively. In fact, it is the most affordable compact SUV in the country right now. It severely undercuts the competition and hopes to grab a large chunk of market share for itself. But whether it will be able to take on the segment leader in Hyundai Venue, only time will tell. Until then, let us compare the two SUVs and find out who comes out on top.

Renault Kiger vs Hyundai Venue – Exteriors and Dimensions

The Renault Kiger features two honeycomb-shaped chrome effects running across the front grille and LED DRLs placed on the bonnet. The LED headlamp cluster is placed down below on the bumper, which is encased in the chrome unit. Along with this, the sporty front bumper with skid plates gives it a tall and muscular stance. The sides are accentuated by the 16-inch black diamond-cut finished alloys, wheel arch cladding with roof rails and dual-tone roof. When we move to the rear, we are greeted by the LED tail lamp unit with glossy black inserts, which make the look very modern indeed.

The Hyundai Venue on the other hand has a dark chrome cascading grille with a mesh pattern. In a rather unconventional manner, the headlight unit is placed lower down on the bumper, which consists of Projector headlamps and fog lamps and LED DRLs. The ground clearance is 190 mm, which gives it a more hatchback-like stance. The roof rails do give Venue a sort of a sporty element. the rear of the Venue, however, looks quite ordinary without any flashy bits.
