Nissan Micra Successor To Be Renault-Made EV

The next-generation Nissan Micra is losing the combustion engines altogether. It will be engineered by Renault.

The Nissan Micra was initially launched in 2017. However, it did not perform as well as the company’s other models. Now, the Japanese brand plans to take the electric car route with Nissan Micra. Since the last iteration came without a diesel engine option, only the Petrol option was left. Additionally, it might not even be called Micra. So far, the company has only launched a teaser image of the upcoming car. Here’s all we know so far:

The new teaser image by Nissan shows a stylish car with a Black finish and large round LED daytime running lights at the front. The company claims that the upcoming model will be a pure electric machine. The all-new compact EV might come with a new moniker. However, it will be positioned as Nissanโ€™s entry-level model (similar to Micra). Nissan hopes that the new model will attract new customers in Europe.
