Now, it has unveiled a new powerful motor for this e-scooter that is said to offer a range of 300 km on a single charge. Let’s take a close look at the longest range electric scooter in India.

Simple One, The Longest Range Electric Scooter in India
Simple energy claims that the larger battery pack will offer a range of 300 kms+ on a single charge, thanks to a 2 battery option pack. Both the batteries are removable and can be stored in the boot. The Simple One with a double battery comes with a price tag of Rs 1.45 lakh. The larger range is likely to encourage customers to opt for the e-scooter by eliminating the anxiety range. Here’s the official statement:
“When we conceived the Simple One, we had the aim of offering an electric scooter that could offer enough range for users to not have to worry about range or charging. Offering an extra battery will allow power users to reach destinations that no other electric two-wheeler in India can. This additional battery can easily fit in the boot of the scooter offering a range of over 300 km. This is a big milestone – not just for Simple Energy, but for the EV industry. This move will also go a long way in bolstering the perception of electric scooters,” said Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO, Simple Energy.

The Simple One e-scooter features a futuristic design with sharp body panels and winglets on the sides. The sporty scooter is touted to offers the highest driving range of 203 km in Eco mode and a maximum range of 236km in IDC for a fully charged battery. It can go from 0-40 in just less than 2.95 seconds and offers a top speed of up to 105km/h. Additional features include a smart dashboard (digital console) and a large 30L boot space. You can pre-book the Simple One e-scooter online at just Rs 1,947. The longest range electric scooter in India is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom).
