While most manufacturers have kick started 2017 with price hikes across their model range, Fiat India has done the exact opposite. FCA has slashed prices of the Linea, Punto Evo and Avventura by 7-7.3%. We’ve always been of the opinion that Fiat cars in India are among the best looking models in their respective segments. Not just high on the aesthetic front, these cars also score well in terms of ride and handling. However, thanks to an after sales service network that can be best described as really average, these models have failed to perform well on the monthly sales charts. The recent Fiat cars price reduction should help enhance the brand’s appeal.

Articulating his vision for 2017, Kevin Flynn – President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “2017 is a significant year for FCA as we enter a new phase of growth with both our brands – Fiat and Jeep. We want to make this the year of our transformation in our approach towards engaging with existing customers and winning new ones. This thought led us to start the new year by enhancing the value proposition on our feature-rich Linea and Punto EVO, as the first step. This year, we will move the needle on our sales and service network for which we have started implementing significant changes.”
