Suzuki Jimny Features, Variants And Colours Leaked; We Explain

Recently, details of Suzuki Jimny features, variants and the colours were leaked. The Japanese off-roader is expected to launch in Japan soon, following which it will come to India by 2019. Also, it can come as a facelift to the legendary, Maruti Gypsy. It is expected to cost between Rs 6.5 Lakhs to Rs 9 Lakhs. 

Suzuki Jimny received its last update, way back in 1998. Now, it is going to get its 4th generation. The Mini SUV is all set to launch soon in Japan and will come to India by the second half of 2019. Various spy images and details have been leaked online. Recently, a brochure of the car was leaked which had the details of the variants, features and colours that the Jimny will get. It will come in three variants – XG, XL and XC. The car gets a variety of single-tone and dual tone colour options. The XC variant will be the top-end trim and the only model to get a dual-tone colour option. Main features include an engine start/stop button, keyless entry, dual sensor brake support, LED headlamps and more. Suzuki Jimny – Engine

It is confirmed that Jimny will get a 660cc turbocharged petrol engine. The engine produces 64 BHP worth of power and 95 Nm worth of torque. It will be mated to a 5-speed MT with an option of 4-speed AMT. For off-roading, it might get 4WD and differential locking system.
