Interiors of 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 have been spied while testing. The next-gen i10 will get a new design makeover with some feature additions too. We expect to launch to happen in festive season 2019.
The Grand i10 is one of the best sellers in its segment. It is also one of the most feature equipped amongst its rivals. It just received an update in 2017 and already Hyundai has begun testing the next-generation of Grand i10. We have spied a couple of test mules in India. Here, we have spy photos of the recent testing and we get to know some details about its interiors. The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 will receive a whole design makeover with some feature upgrades. It will also get a new AMT gearbox instead of the 4-speed AT.
In this spy picture, we can see two test mules. While one appears to be the base variant, the other one is the top-end variant. The top-end variant was spotted with a new set of alloy wheels, a large touchscreen infotainment system and a twin-dial instrument cluster with MID.

On the base variant, we could spot a new set of wheel covers, a basic infotainment system and normal instrument cluster without the MID. The infotainment system was not a touchscreen unit. Also, the AC dials look different in both the mules. The top-end one would get Auto AC and the base one would get manual AC.
Just like the current one, the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 will sport Electric ORVMs with turn indicators on the higher variants. The base variants will get basic ORVMs with indicators on the front bumpers.

The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 will mostly continue with the same 1.2 Litre petrol and U2 1.2 CRDi diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 83 HP and 113 Nm of torque. The diesel engine produces 75 HP and 190 Nm of torque. For transmission, both the engines use a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol variant comes with an optional 4-speed Automatic Transmission.

As per the latest reports, the next-gen Grand i10 might get an AMT gearbox. Hyundai Santro is the first one to get an in-house developed AMT gearbox, which might also go to Xcent and Grand i10.
Feature-wise, Hyundai has equipped it well. With the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10, we do not expect major feature upgrades. It might get a revised touchscreen infotainment, a revised MID cluster and Projector headlamps.
The next-gen Grand i10 might get some revisions in the safety features as well. Along with dual front airbags, ABS and EBD, it will also get ESP as standard fitments. Other than this, we do not expect any more safety upgrades.

In terms of prices, we do not expect a marginal increase. There might be a minor increase of around Rs 5,000 from the current prices.
