Jeep Compass Trailhawk will get a larger touchscreen, Trailhawk badging on the car and more!
Jeep is all set to launch Trailhawk which is based on the Compass. It is more rugged, looks aesthetic and brings more off-road capability than any of it’s in the segment. Jeep Compass Trailhawk is expected to be launched in mid of July 2019.
It will be powered by a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine making 177bhp of power with 350Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, it will be mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox which will offer more convenience than the manual one. It is expected that the Trailhawk might be launched with a BS-VI compliance engine.
The pictures above show a 9-speed automatic gearbox, new instrument cluster, Trailhawk badging on the front fender and a larger infotainment system which will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also get a navigation system.

Jeep Compass Trailhawk will come with a four-wheel drive system with a low range, it will also add an additional ‘rock’ mode to the list apart from ‘auto, snow, sand and mud’.
The SUV will also get more ground clearance of about 225mm which will eventually increase the ride height. The front and rear bumpers are designed to improve the approach angle and departing angle. The approach angle is now at 33 degrees while the departing is at 33.6 degrees.
Count a cruise control, Trailhawk badging on the seats, new-instrument cluster with multi-information display and standard panoramic sunroof, dual -zone climate control which will come as a part of the SUV package.

Expect the rear and front bumpers to be tweaked to give it a fresh design, an anti-glare decal on the bonnet and badging on the car, which will differentiate the Trailhawk from the regular Compass.
The prices of the Jeep Compass Trailhawk is officially not announced but is expected to launch at a price of 25 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the SUV has the ability to compete with the cars higher than its segment too in terms of off-roading.
