Toyota Glanza – the rebadged Maruti Baleno focuses on youth in its new teaser!
Glanza is the upcoming hatchback from Toyota and the spy shots are all on the internet. A few days ago we brought you the story of the car shooting for a TVC in Goa. Now the manufacturer is releasing teasers of the new upcoming hatchback!
The teaser here revolves mostly of the front fascia and the tagline, ‘Hatchin Soon’. Toyota Glanza is the restyled Maruti Baleno and they look identical to each other if we leave the badges alone. The images which have been leaked of the exterior and interior gives you a total idea that the car looks the same as its cousin.
The teaser here shows how the Glanza will mostly be youth-oriented. The idea of marketing is simple, from commuting you to the office to getting ready for parties, Glanza is your buddy to go anywhere. It approaches a minimalistic yet simple approach to gather the attention of buyers.
Toyota Glanza teasers will run on all their social media handles, television ads and even the hoardings on roads which will make the market aware that what the car has to offer and how is it different.

However, there are many doubts that why would one go for the same product when Baleno is already dominating the market. Well, Toyota is known for its reliability, safety features and quality.
The features list and the designing looks the same as Baleno. It will get a BS-VI compliance engine. The 1.2-litre dual jet VVT petrol motor produces 82bhp with 114Nm of torque.
However, Toyota will provide 3 years or 1,00,000kms warranty on the Glanza. Maruti provides a 2 year or 40000 km warranty on Baleno. So it can be a huge advantage to former. Moreover, the safety features can also be added considering it is a Toyota.

Once launched, Toyota Glanza will rival against the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i10, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo. It will fall into the price range of Rs 7.07 lakh – 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
