Maruti Suzuki intends to expand its Nexa experience deeper into the country with this new mobile Nexa terminal outlet.

Maruti Suzuki has flagged off its new mobile Nexa terminal, an initiative that intends to take the Nexa experience deeper into the country where there are no Nexa showrooms. The idea is to expand their premium dealership network and reach out to existing and prospective customers to let them experience what a full fledged Nexa outlet has to offer.

The Nexa showrooms were first established in 2015 and as of date, Maruti Suzuki has 360 Nexa showrooms spread across the entire country. Maruti says that 20% of their sales come from the Nexa outlets and accounts for more than 9 lakh customers. Currently, Maruti Suzuki sells their premium range of cars from the Nexa outlets which includes the Ignis, the Baleno, the Ciaz and the S-Cross.

Speaking about the success of Nexa, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said, “In less than 4 years of its launch, NEXA has rapidly grown to become the most successful premium retail network in India and contributes over 20% to our total sales. In this short span of time, we have setup over 360 NEXA outlets covering more than 200 cities and added over 9 lakh happy NEXA customers. This mobile NEXA terminal will help us to connect with customers in geographies where NEXA outlets are currently not present.”

Since its establishment in 2015, the Nexa outlets have grown exponentially. With this new Maruti mobile Nexa terminal, Maruti hopes to offer customers a new way of interacting and better connecting with the brand. This is particularly more relevant in tier 2 and tier 3 cities where people actually have the aspirational value to buy premium cars but would have to travel to bigger cities to access the showrooms.

The mobile Nexa terminal will feature a lounge area with probably one car on display. To keep up modernity, there will be digital tablets which will offer every information about the cars. The automaker’s future premium launches will also be sold under the Nexa brand. Another added advantage is that the initial investment for mobile terminals will be low in comparison to setting up a full-fledged dealership.
