Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear Receives Price Hike – Details

The H-Gear version of Bajaj Platina receives five-gears for smooth cruising and also delivers better fuel efficiency.

It looks like Bajaj Auto is on a rolling spree with hiking the prices of its various models. It was the Dominar 400 to receive its hike then came the Pulsar 150 and now it is the Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear which see an increase in its price.

The inside reports say that the hike in prices is mainly due to the rise in input costs. The bikes do not come with any updates or cosmetic changes after the price hike.

As you can see the Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear having drum brakes sees a mere Rs 499 price difference while the one which sports Disc brakes, it gets Rs 998 as a price increase. That said, the new prices for the bike start at Rs 53,875 for drum CBS and Rs 56,371 for the higher trim. Both the prices mentioned refers to ex-showroom, Delhi.

Talking about the Platina 110 H-Gear then it is the latest commuter offering from Bajaj which sits on top of the line trim. The bike receives an additional 5th gear which not only helps in increasing fuel efficiency but also smoothens your cruising at cities or on the highways.

The bike receives an all-black engine and a new set of alloy wheels. The motorcycle also receives a new set of decals which gives the bike a sharp and mature look. It is available in three colours – Ebony Black with Blue Decals, Ebony Black with Royal Burgundy and Cocktail Wine Red.

Feature-wise it gets a new semi-digital instrument console with a gear shift indicator. The speedometer is digital whereas the tachometer is an analogue unit. The console further shows gear shift indicator, service reminder and battery low warning.

Powering the Platina H-Gear is a bigger 115cc engine from the Discover 110. The bike produces 8.6 bhp with a peak torque of 9.8 Nm. As said above, it continues with five-speed manual transmission. For suspension, it gets telescopic forks at the front and nitrox-charged rear shock absorbers at the back.
