Nissan Magnite has been unveiled in India and here are all the 20+ features of the subcompact SUV explained in our video.
There’s another entrant in the sub compact SUV segment this year, from Nissan Motor India. Nissan Magnite has been globally unveiled, but it will first enter the Indian market. We have the engine specifications and details of its features with us, so here is our detailed walkaround video of the same.
Nissan Magnite is a sub-compact 3.95 metres long SUV. The dimensions have not been revealed as of yet. The design language is relatively modern with a hint of European touch. Some of them think that it a Datsun-inspired design, but Nissan claims that it is completely fresh.
On the front, it gets LED headlamps, LED DRLs and LED fog lamps with a hexagonal shaped gloss black grille. It will get standard 16-inch wheels for all the variants, but here, it gets diamond cut dual-tone alloys. Grey body cladding can be all around the SUV, more eminently on the wheel arches.
Inside the cabin, it gets tons of features which are somewhat more than Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. Also, if noticed, the cabin looks a bit similar to Renault Triber. It gets 7-inch TFT fully digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, engine start-stop button and automatic AC.
At the time of launch, a Tech Pack will also be made available as an option to buyers. With this, they will get more features including a wireless charger and an automatic air-purifier. On the safety front, Nissan Magnite will come with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, 360-degree parking camera, roll-over bar and traction control.
Engine options will include a 1.0 Litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder NA motor. The turbo motor should be able to vent out around 100 PS. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed manual and a CVT. Prices are expected to start off at around Rs 5 Lakhs up to Rs 8 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
