Bajaj CT has been equipped with a bigger capacity 110cc engine, at a price of Rs 37,997. It also gets some cosmetic upgrades onboard.
Bajaj recently launched the Platina with a bigger 115cc engine and also equipped it with segment-first 5-gearbox. Now, the manufacturer has put the same engine on CT series, and its prices have been revealed.
Bajaj CT 110 has been officially launched and the bike comes at a price of Rs 37,997 for the kick-start model and Rs 44,532 for the Electric start variant (ex-showroom prices Delhi). It is costlier than the CT 100 by Rs 3000-4000.
The CT110 has started reaching dealerships and we expect the bookings to commence in a week’s time. The deliveries are expected to commence by the first week of August.
Bajaj CT 110 gets new tank grips and a revised set of graphics to differentiate it from the CT 100. A larger seat, larger rear-view mirrors, rubber gaiters and blacked-out engine, handlebar and grab rail come on the updated model.
The main update comes in the form of a bigger 115cc four-stroke air-cooled DTS-i engine, that produces 8.6 BHP and 9.81 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Although, the Platina 110 got a 5-speed gearbox as a segment-first feature.
The suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back. For braking, it uses 100mm drum brakes at both the ends with Anti-Skid Brake (ASB) as standard fitment.
The fuel tank capacity of Bajaj CT 110 is 10.5 Litres, with an estimated riding range of over 600-700 kms on a full tank. Bajaj claims that the CT 100 offers an ARAI claimed mileage of more than 80 kmpl.
Features onboard the CT110 include twin-pod analogue speedometer, alloy wheels, a long and cushioned seat and grab rails at the back. CT series is one of the key volume generators for Bajaj Auto. It is available in three colours – Matte Olive Green with Yellow Decals, Gloss Ebony Black With Blue Decals and Gloss Flame Red With Bright Red Decals.
At this price, the Bajaj CT 110 now competes with the likes of TVS Sport, Yamaha Saluto and Hero HF Deluxe, which are basic 110cc motorcycles.
