brick wall falls tata nano

Here is an interesting case of a brick wall collapsing on a Tata Nano. The Nano was once hailed as the world’s most budget-friendly car, a factor that significantly influenced its fortunes. Its affordability garnered widespread praise and initially drove strong sales. However, not everyone was enthused about its status as the most inexpensive car in the nation. Over time, sales dwindled, and Tata ultimately had to cease production of the model due to reduced demand and increasingly stringent emission and safety standards. Even though it’s no longer in production, some individuals still take pride in owning a Nano.

Brick Wall Falls on Tata Nano

This video comes from Raftaar 7811 on YouTube. This channel features regular content around road safety. On this occasion, a case here emerged from Andhra Pradesh. As per the information in the video, a Nano was parked near a building. Due to some reason, the wall of the building collapsed. The elements fell on the Nano car. However, it is quite impressive that the build quality of the car was able to absorb the impact quite well. In fact, there is barely any major damage to the exterior. It is quite impressive to witness the erstwhile cheapest car in the country performing so well.

Crash Test

Now, while there are tons of videos circulating on the internet regarding the ‘build quality’ of various cars, it must be understood that simply judging a car in a crash is not enough. It doesn’t represent the full picture. That is why there are dedicated crash tests in place by authorized agencies like the Global NCAP and now, the Bharat NCAP. They perform a wide range of specific tests on cars to analyse the build quality from every aspect along with the effectiveness of the active and passive safety equipment in every car.

What We Think

We recommend our readers consider choosing vehicles with top safety ratings. There are numerous instances on the road where you might find yourself depending solely on your car’s safety capabilities. When you’re travelling on the highway, things don’t always go as planned. Therefore, it’s essential to have a car with a robust build. In fact, the introduction of Bharat NCAP standards aims to enhance the safety features of cars. Customers are increasingly aware of their priorities when buying new cars, and safety is now a significant consideration.
