The largest sunroof in the segment further accentuates the premium element. There is a large connected dual-screen setup for the Infotainment System and Driver’s Instrument Cluster, AdrenoX Connected Car Tech App with Alexa Support, and Premium 3D Surround System by Sony. This will definitely enhance the drive experience of the SUV. The dashboard features a premium finish which is extended to the other areas of the cabin as well.
The features that were revealed earlier included an Auto Booster Headlamp which increases the intensity of lights after the driver crosses the speed of 80 kmph, Smart Door Handles with proximity sensors, Customized Safety Alerts with personalized alert notes, Smart Air Purifier, Stylish Alloy Wheel Design, Driver Drowsiness Monitoring Alert and Boss Mode feature for the seat adjustment. All in all, the Mahindra XUV700 will definitely be one of the most feature-packed SUVs in its segment.
The powertrain options for the Mahindra XUV700 will include a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with direct injection technology from Mahindra’s very own mStallion range of engines, making 190 hp and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre tried and tested diesel engine that might be tuned to put out around 185 hp of max power. There will be options of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes with these engines. The SUV will even offer Drive Modes (Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom). This feature will be initially available with just the diesel powertrain, which is interesting. There might be hybrid powertrain options as well to aid the fuel economy and probably enhance the power figures slightly.
