Digital artists often develop incredibly attractive illustrations of popular vehicles to lend us a new perspective as seen in this case.
A famous digital automobile artist has created an enticing digital rendition of the Maruti Swift in a crossover avatar. Swift is one of the most successful models in our market ever. It has been around since 2005. In fact, we are about to witness the latest 4th generation version of the Swift in the coming weeks. Maruti has kept is fresh over its 19 years of existence by updating it consistently. That is why it is still in high demand even today. For that reason, even automobile artists choose it as a blank canvas to display their creativity. For now, let us take a look at the details of these unique visuals from octane9tfive pertaining to the Swift in a new avatar.

Maruti Swift Re-Imagined as Crossover
Concept #1
The first concept bears a tough and solid appearance. It embodies the true essence of a crossover SUV/hatchback. In fact, it would really take you a minute to recognize the donor model for this rendering. At the front, there is an upright bonnet with a hood scoop, LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a rugged bumper with LED fog lamps and LED DRLs surrounding them, and a rugged skid plate section which oozes adventure. On the sides, one gets greeted by colossal tyres with off-roading treads, ginormous wheel arches with prominent claddings, auxiliary LED lights on the roof, a sturdy roof luggage carrier, side steps for enhanced ingress and egress characteristics and more. The matte green/Army colour theme really highlights its crossover demeanour. In all honesty, it is hard to know that this is inspired by Swift at all.

Concept #2
Interestingly, this second concept, although carries the crossover silhouette again, looks nothing like the first version. That is a testament to the creativity of the artist. He has used the same base model but has come up with an entirely new iteration. This time around, the LED headlamps are more circular with round LED DRLs encapsulated inside them, the grille area is much broader with a clear Suzuki logo, the skid plate is definitely more rugged, the bumper is much more solid and the fog lamps are rather basic. On the sides, there is a huge gap between the tyres and wheel cladding which is a common trait of hardcore off-roading machines. Even this version gets the side steps to ensure a smooth climb inside the cabin. There are roof rails and a luggage carrier on the roof along with additional lighting to help drive in the dark. The side profile has a window line which climbs to the top toward the rear.
Concept #3
This next version bears a slight resemblance to the original Maruti Swift to some extent. At the front, it gets the sloping bonnet line with a swept-back headlamp pattern which we have seen in the Swift for years. However, what sets this model apart from the previous ones is the inclusion of added fog lamps on the bumper in addition to having traditional fog lamps. The underbelly of the bumper has a strong character with a tough body. This concept looks even more prepared to be driven during the night because of additional lights on the roof. The side profile is dominated by the mammoth wheel arches and off-roading tyres. There is also a side step to allow passengers quick and uneventful access to the cabin. Looking closely, you will even see the black alloy wheels in this version.

Concept #4
The final concept on this list of Maruti Swift in a crossover guise is a rather understated and sophisticated model. In fact, it is the closest to the regular Swift, at least from the front. The front fascia comes with an almost creaseless bonnet line (just like in the regular Swift) and a swept-back LED headlamp unit with LED DRLs positioned inside the headlamp cluster, a prominent fog lamp unit with a co-centric design pattern, a hint of ruggedness with a compact skid plate, a solid bumper and a broad grille. Moving down the sides, one gets greeted by humungous alloy wheels with off-roading tyres. There are side steps to smoothen the boarding and deboarding exercise for the passengers. There is a spare tyre placed on the roof along with additional LED lighting for driving off-tarmac. The rear profile is not visible in any of these visualizations.
Author’s Note
We really appreciate the efforts the digital artist has put into creating these enticing virtual concepts of the popular Swift. It is because of these distinct efforts that we are able to experience a completely new avatar of something that we’ve witnessed all our lives. Swift is a household name in India. It has been the case for as long as I remember. New cars come and go, but something like a Swift is an icon. That is what makes me so excited about the upcoming fourth-generation version. I shall report the details of that new model as soon as it arrives.
