Anand Mahindra has shown his kindness again as he gifted a new Mahindra KUV100 NXT to a mother-son duo who took a pilgrimage tour on scooter.
Dakshinamurthy Krishna Kumar from Mysore, left his secure banking job last year. He then decided to take a pan-India pilgrimage tour of a total 48,000 kilometres. The guy took his mother along with him on a scooter which was specifically designed for her comfort. The pillion seat was adjusted for both the travellers and off they took for a long-long trip around the country.
In this entire trip of 56,000 kilometres, the guy covered many temples across the country right from south to north to east to west. And not just that. He also visited some temples in the neighbouring countries of Nepal, Myanmar, Bhutan and Bangladesh. All this done on a scooter and that too taking an aged mother behind. This has to be one of the most interesting and touching travel stories of all time.
